Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Springfield B&B, I found it to be a practical choice for a short visit. Upon arrival, Kevin, the proprietor, greeted us warmly and guided us to our immaculately clean room. It was a basic yet cozy accommodation, which met my needs perfectly as a history teacher traveling for a gourmet getaway. Mornings at Springfield offered a value-driven breakfast experience. I enjoyed a satisfying full English breakfast, complemented by lighter options like porridge and toast. This variety set the day's tone, providing a hearty start before I immersed myself in Belfast's historical sights, just a leisurely 16-minute walk away. The location is well-connected, with ample local dining options, including takeaways and a pub right across the street. After exploring historical sites like St Peter's Cathedral, I appreciated the proximity to Bushmills distillery and the Gaeltacht quarter. Springfield B&B served as a solid base for my culinary explorations in Belfast. I would gladly return, particularly for the hospitality and the uncomplicated access to both history and local cuisine. Recommended for travelers seeking a blend of comfort and convenience.
